Scott A. Milkey

Scott is an attorney in the Shelbyville office of McNeelyLaw where he concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and business transactions.

Scott graduated summa cum laude, earning his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. While in law school, Scott served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Indiana Law Review, was selected to the Order of the Barristers as part of the Honorable Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition, and served as a tutor in Contracts Law and Constitutional Law as part of the Dean’s Tutorial Society. Scott also worked as a legal extern for the Honorable Mark S. Massa on the Indiana Supreme Court and completed externships for the Marion County Public Defender Agency, the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree in accounting, Scott became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive) and worked for a big four public accounting firm. In that position, he was responsible for performing financial statement audits and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 consulting projects for a variety of publicly traded companies.
