Welcome Jenny Tucker-Young!

This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Jenny Tucker-Young!

Jenny’s journey in law began with deep roots. She was the fourth generation (and first female!) attorney in her family’s firm based in Orange County, Indiana. The practice was founded in 1933 by her great-grandfather, James L. Tucker, and continued through the generations with James M. Tucker, then Jenny’s father, James C. Tucker, before she stepped in to carry on the legacy.

Jenny’s early experience in a small-town firm helped shape her approach to the law, one that values both tradition and community, much like McNeelyLaw. She shares that one of the most valuable pieces of advice she’s ever received is: “Never ask a question you don’t know the answer to in trial.” It’s a simple lesson, but one that has served her well throughout her legal career.

Outside of work, Jenny is all about family. She and her husband have four children, and she loves spending time with them, especially during beach vacations, movie nights, or family game nights playing Clue or UNO. Jenny is also an avid reader and a big fan of Indiana’s beautiful State Parks.
